Review on: Clinique - Quickliner For Lips
Great liner. Never needs sharpened, nice variety of colors and goes on smoothly with long lasting staying power.  A bit on the expensive side but depending on how regularly it is used (I use mine Often) they will last, at minimum, two or three months. My favorite shade is High Drama ...

Pros: non drying, goes on easy, good staying power, nice selection of shades, NO SHARPENING
Cons: None
Review on: Clinique - Quickliner For Lips
Clinique Quickliner For Lips is a must have item for any gal on the go. Usually, with little time in the morning to ‘put on my face’, I reach for this product for a quick and easy application consisting of only a minute or two. Why do I like the Quickliner For Lips? Simply put, this product is longwearing, it stays put and there is absolutely no sharpening to be done, ever. Also, the rather creamy texture of the Quickliner formula is one that ensures a smooth application, without the aggravating necessity of dragging it along the outline of your lips. With nineteen colors to choose from, in various shades of nude, tawnies, pinks, and violets, Clinique has made it easy to find a complimentary color for a good majority of consumers. Their ‘Lipblush’ liner possibly being the one must-have color sure to compliment almost any skin tone. I gravitate towards shades of berry and browns, yet I am always experimenting with new colors. The only trouble I have encountered in choosing a lip liner has simply been to limit my purchase to only what I need at the time. So many colors, only two lips and so few hours in the day... sigh. The Liner Quickliner For Lips comes packaged within a sturdy, somewhat thin silver plastic tube. The liner relies on swivel action to raise the lip color product to your specification. All one needs do is simply twist the product until you are pleased with the length of its tip. Then just line, define or fill in your lips completely with your favorite hue. I find this lip color to be non-drying and will often just fill my lips completely and leave it at that. This liner is soft enough to glide smoothly, yet not so delicate as to break during an application. No smudging, no feathering, no small little product clumps, no hassle. However, due to its softer texture, I do occasionally find that I need to retouch the color (along with lipstick) once more throughout a busy day. Eating and even lip biting, what have you, can all factor into this for each individual. A caveat, this liner does not retract. If you twist up too much, you cannot twist it backwards and down. What you have is what you’ve got, so you need to pay attention is all. Another is that, this lip liner has no visible indicator of how much product remains throughout its use. So it may be a bit difficult at first to gauge when you are running low and need to purchase another. Personally, this really doesn’t bother me all that much; I still currently prefer this lip liner to any other for travel and everyday purse toting. When I think about it, I’d rather use this product without the waste and hassle associated with waxy lining pencils that need to be shaped and sharpened with each successive use. Recommendation Available in a .01 ounce applicator, this liner does seem quite expensive at $13.50 per item. However, Quickliner For Lips lasts me at least three months, sometimes slightly longer depending on usage and changing of colors. I do not wear full face makeup everyday, yet do apply lip color quite regularly. Using my Clinique liners as a full coverage color often, as well. Therefore, I have found the price has been worth the extended, longwearing results of this product upon application. Not to mention its hassle free, no sharpening – no waste feature. Clinique’s color selection is relatively extensive, with new colors having been added since its marketing debut. Recently up from fourteen to nineteen. The Quickliner For Lips is a product for those seeking a quality item that offers excellent coverage, longevity of wear and requires absolutely no incessant sharpening.
